Santa Maria Valley Equestrian Center is a family owned and operated horse boarding facility located in Santa Maria, CA. We are a full service barn that offers horse boarding, horse back riding lessons, Equine Horse Therapy as well as  training of your horse.  Our boarding facility is located on the Central Coast of California, on 11 tranquil acres nestled between the mountains and the ocean.

Whether you are a beginner, a novice or an experienced rider or you are looking for Therapeutic Riding, Santa Maria Valley Equestrian Centers facilities are designed to encourage the full potential of the horse and rider. Our barn provides a quiet and safe environment to spend time with your horse allowing you the opportunity to focus and enjoy the horsemanship in you!

My family and I came to Heather during a time in our lives where we were trying to heal our hearts. With Heathers guidance her horses showed us the love, patience and understanding my family needed. Fast forward to today, Sant Maria Valley Equestrian Center is apart of our everyday lives. With Heathers help we bought our first horse Willow. Her facility encompasses everything a horse owner needs as well as wants, friendly, clean, endlessness amenities for our horses but most importantly Heather is trusting and loving with all the animals and people at her facility. She truly enjoys teaching people about horses and watching them enjoy the equestrian lifestyle.

  • I first found Santa Maria Equestrian Center as a place for my two young daughters to develop their love for horseback riding with Miss Heather. Well, their love quickly developed into a family passion and now we have our first family horse boarded here. The sense of love, commitment and community for the horses and their families is beyond measure.
